Meet Sophie Guitron
Sophie Guitron is a standout athlete whose journey in flag football is defined by resilience, perseverance, and purpose. After undergoing heart surgery at just 11 years old, Sophie returned to the field with renewed determination, using sport as a source of strength and motivation.
Her courage and leadership have earned her national recognition, including being named a 2024 Latino Youth Honors recipient. Today, Sophie is continuing her flag football journey at the collegiate level, where she is focused on competing, growing, and pushing the limits of what is possible.
