Free Virtual Officiating Training

 

The easiest way to kick off your officiating training is by enrolling in our free virtual training sessions. These trainings focus on the NFL FLAG rulebook, game management techniques, and the mechanics needed to operate and communicate effectively on the field. This program is designed to give your officials the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

Officials Certification Course

 

Beyond our free offerings, we’ve developed a comprehensive certification course for NFL FLAG officials and coaches. This program focuses on:

  • The NFL FLAG rulebook: Ensuring all officials are well-versed in the rules and regulations.
  • Game management techniques: Teaching the best practices for managing the flow of the game.
  • On-field communication mechanics: Developing effective communication strategies to maintain order and clarity during games.

Benefits of the Referee Registry

 

Once your referees complete our certification course, they can join the NFL FLAG Referee Registry. Membership includes several benefits:

  • Yearly background check: Simplifies the process and saves costs.
  • Inclusion in the National NFL FLAG Database: Opens up work opportunities with NFL FLAG leagues or regional tournaments.
  • Additional pay: Qualify for an extra $5.00 per hour when working NFL FLAG Regional Tournaments.
  • Officials pool: Consideration for appointment to NFL FLAG Championships at the Pro Bowl.
  • Access to Officials Gear Store: Get exclusive officiating gear.
