Day 3 Recap: NFL FLAG Championships Presented by Toyota

The competition is heating up at the NFL FLAG Championships Presented by Toyota. With a lot on the line today, let's dive right in and relive the excitement.

International Championships

The International Teams brought their best in bracket play today, with Mexico, China, Canada, and Australia advancing to the semi-finals. In an intense showdown, Mexico triumphed over China with a 32-0 victory, while Canada advanced against Australia with a 34-18 win.

The grand finale saw Mexico crowned the champion after a thrilling 21-12 victory against Canada.

We celebrated the achievements of all the International Teams with a ceremony where they proudly took the stage. Mexico's team collected their well-deserved rings and golden football, and all teams demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship—something we’ve witnessed from the get go.

Staying at Walsh University’s campus in North Canton has allowed players to bond and share their love for the game. "It’s really been awesome," said Jordan Lowe, who coaches the Australian NFL FLAG team. "We’ve learned that flag football is a common language, so even if some teams can’t communicate with each other, they’re still out there, playing against one another, and having fun."

Although the International Division games are over, the spirit of the competition continues, as teams receive ongoing support from the NFL to grow the game globally.

Special Appearance by Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductee, Andre Reed

Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver and Football Hall of Fame inductee Andre Reed held an exciting clinic for players today. They had a chance to showcase their skills and have fun with the Hall of Famer, creating unforgettable memories.
